Set of four Danish teak chairs by Hans J. Frydendal for Bolting Stolefabrik, 1960s. The lacquered solid teak wood frames have a beautiful finish and are sturdy and weighty. Well crafted chairs feature curved backrests, cushioned seats with intricate detailing including tonal inlay. A stunning example of the best in Danish mid century furniture. In good condition with completely new pattered brown wool upholstery.

The cantilever chair design is a hallmark of early 20th-century modernism. It emerged from Bauhaus and related movements.
